Cintacor Island Resort

Construction is still underway, lot of construction materials lying everywhere, very small rooms, location is very good. Small restaurant. Very slow service. Hot water availability in room was nice. Beach was very clean. Very nice staff. Water sports are good. Food variety to be increased. Room rent to be reduced.

The property charged 5 star price for 2 star facilities. Good was exceptionally bad. The ferry service was horrible and unsafe. I would not recommend this property.

Lovely walks by the sea side through a forest (which was a Fort earlier!).....So many Dolphins ... Kayaking...Sunset Cruise...spotting hundreds of jelly fish in the sea from the boat ....amazing sunsets from the Infinity Pool....excellent service and food....Sea Facing Room with a huge balcony....I could go on and on ...our type of vacation! We stayed in the S Cabin where we could see the blue waters of the Arabian Sea right from our beds! Our room had a nice balcony with full size glass windows, where we used to enjoy our morning tea while watching the majestic white bellied sea eagles and Brahminy and black kites! This was one of our best vacations in India - a first on an Island. Everything was perfect! The owner has created a paradise here for travelers who are hungry for quality, activities, and natural beauty! There are many things we loved here - Staff, service, food, ambience, rooms, location....and so on. We spent 5 days here on my husband's birthday. The staff arranged a private table for the birthday celebration, overlooking the pool and sea. In fact I just chanced upon this place while searching for a destination resort on Google! Everything here is so perfectly planned right from the pickup from the Karwar Jetty. It appealed to us for its offbeat charm where everything was so subtle and yet perfect! We had the privilege to meet the *** behind this, Mr. Vijay Prabhu who is a perfect gentleman and truly humble! His character and qualities seem to have percolated down to each of his staff member who are so caring and attentive to all your needs! If there was an option I would give it more than 5 stars! Also, I could have continued staying here for much longer :-) A special shoutout to Mr. Milton (Operations Manager), Soundarya (FO), Apoi (Restaurant), Ravi (Activities), Darshan Thapa (Masseur) who made our stay extra special with their warmth and attitude!

If you’re looking for a secluded, tranquil getaway, Cintacor is the ultimate destination! This private island off the coast of Karwar is truly a gem. The cabins are stunning – spacious, well-appointed, and each one has a private balcony with breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. The design of the cabins is exceptional, and the amenities are top-notch. Dining at Nemo’s Deck is a highlight. Set at the highest point on the island, the restaurant offers a variety of delicious cuisines, all while enjoying panoramic sea views. Jolly Rogers Lounge Bar is another great spot to relax, offering a superb selection of drinks, music, and books. For those who want to stay active, the nature trails and water activities are fantastic, and the private beach provides the perfect escape for peaceful moments. The staff were incredibly attentive and professional, ensuring a flawless experience. Cintacor offers a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and luxury. It’s a place I can’t wait to return to!

Had a super oneday... Recommended atleast 2 nights and 3 days... Housekeeping and room service by Ganesh was great, team at nemo deck was on toes, Swimming pool attendent was considerate and took care of us even after official time after our insistence. Ravi for nature trail was fantastic and the jet ski experience was superb because of Gajendra... Overall fantastic experience.. Will be back for sure.... Thanks

The island is beautiful and serene, but the property fell a bit short of our expectation Positives - Helpful and courteous staff, serene location. Negatives - We were not given proper information about travel time from Goa to Karwar. When I spoke to Central reservations, I was informed of shorter travel time. Also, I was not informed about booking a cab service myself, till I called them the day before we were to check-in, to check on the cab and ferry timings. Before making a booking, the person who I spoke to, did not convey correctly that I had to book my own transport from Dabolim to Karwar jetty. Alternate modes of travel are not mentioned on the website. For instance, given the right information, we could have taken an overnight train from Mumbai and saved a lot of travel time, which would have given us half a day more at the resort. Would request you to put up details of mode of transportation, contact number of cab service if guests need to book their own and ferry timing, to enable guests to plan their trip properly. Secondly, the spa was damaged during the rains. As a courtesy to the guests who are arriving, a mail should have been sentin advance informing them. Rooms require refurbishing. For the amount charged, the rooms were not upto the mark. Buffet service was never ready on time. Overall, lovely location, courteous staff but customer service by the reservations needs to be perfect. It would go a long way in helping people plan their visit properly
